CareFlite is a 501-C 3 Not for Profit organization that provides medical transportation by helicopter, airplane and ground ambulance. We have over 50 EMS stations across DFW, and our corporate headquarters are located in Grand Prairie, TX

As a valued member of Team CareFlite, you bring help and hope to patients and families following a terrible trauma, a sudden medical event, or any medical transport.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for utilizing various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. This is a fully time opportunity and may require evenings and weekends.

This position reports to and is evaluated by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

• Collaborate with the various leadership to understand staffing needs and assist with developing effective, on-going sourcing strategies to meet the talent demands.
• Identify and interact with qualified candidates using various sourcing techniques.
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).
• Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Increase candidate pool by obtaining referrals from current employees and external networks.
• Promote our employer brand online and offline.
• Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System).
• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.
• Lead company job fairs and hiring events, as well as participate in organizational conferences.
• Manage the screening process, including resume screening and scheduling interviews.
• Build relationships with various high schools and colleges to promote CareFlite job opportunities.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a recruitment related role.
• Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding).
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs).
• Familiarity and understanding of HR processes and talent acquisition trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.).
• Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting (Clear Company experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).
• Knowledge about the industry and the roles within the organization.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential candidates.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with team members and new hires.
• Willingness to travel to career fairs, and other events as necessary is required.

• Valid Driver's License
• SHRM-CP or PHR (Preferred)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
