CareFlite is excited to announce that it will once again be the 911 service provider in Johnson County starting on October 1, 2024. The Johnson County Commissioner’s Court voted unanimously on Monday to award the contract for services to CareFlite.
Returning to Johnson County feels like coming home for CareFlite, as the organization was originally awarded its first-ever 911 contract in the county back in 2003. CareFlite has a strong connection to the community, having proudly served there until 2017. The organization is looking forward to the opportunity to serve the community that it cares deeply about once again.
Under the new contract, CareFlite will expand its ground services in the county by adding five 24-hour ambulances, bringing the total ground ambulances to seven.
